Genre tells you what a station plays. It does not tell you what a station is like at 7am, which is a different thing entirely — a breakfast show is a format, not a genre. Discover browses by when and where instead.
Follow the sun
The drive-time shelves filter on each station's OWN local clock, using its time zone. So at three in the afternoon your morning-drive shelf is full of stations where it is actually morning. These shelves fill and empty through the day; when none of them has anything, the page says so rather than showing you an empty row.

Near You asks your browser for your location once, and only when you press it — nothing prompts on page load. If you would rather not, browsing by country reaches the same stations through their city.
Find more like one you already love
Every station page ends with a More Like This shelf built from what that station actually is, not from what you have listened to. It works on a station you have never played, which is the point — it is a way in, not a recommendation engine that needs warming up.
