In plain terms. varostream is a player for radio streams and podcast feeds that other people publish. We give you a good way to find and listen to them; we don't own them and can't guarantee any particular one keeps working. Your subscription is billed by Apple or Google, and you cancel it there.

1. Accepting these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and {{LEGAL ENTITY NAME}} ("varostream", "we", "us") governing your use of the varostream mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"). By installing or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher.
2. Your licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial listening. You may not sublicense, resell, rent or redistribute it.
3. Subscription, trial and billing
- varostream is offered as an auto-renewing subscription of US$1.99 per month, preceded by a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Prices in other regions are set by the relevant app store and may differ.
- All billing is handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not process or store your payment details.
- Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends, the subscription renews automatically and your store account is charged for the next period.
- You can cancel at any time in your device's subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Refunds are administered by Apple and Google under their own policies. We can't issue a refund for a purchase we didn't process, but we'll help you get to the right place — see Support.
- We may change the subscription price. If we do, we will give you notice in advance and the new price will only apply to periods after that notice; you can cancel before it takes effect.
4. Third-party content
The radio streams, podcast episodes, artwork, station logos and metadata available through the Service are published by third parties — broadcasters, podcast publishers and open directories. We do not create, own, host or control that content, and we do not endorse it. When you play something, your device connects to that publisher's server; their terms and their advertising, if any, are theirs.
Streams go offline, change URL, geo-block listeners or shut down without telling anyone. We monitor for that and retire dead entries, but we cannot guarantee that any particular station or show will be available at any particular time — including at the time an alarm you set is due to fire, which is why the app includes a fallback tone.
If you are a rights holder or broadcaster and want your stream or feed removed from the catalogue, email us at support@varostream.com and we will remove it promptly.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source of the app except where that restriction is prohibited by law; scrape, bulk-download or redistribute the catalogue or any part of our API; use automated means to access the Service at a volume that burdens it; re-broadcast, record for redistribution, or publicly perform content obtained through the Service; circumvent any access control, rate limit or subscription check; or use the Service in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights.
6. Our intellectual property
The varostream name, logo, app design, software and curated catalogue organisation are ours (or our licensors') and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you. Third-party marks that appear in the app — station logos, podcast artwork, platform names — belong to their respective owners and are used to identify their content.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we may add, change or remove content from the catalogue at any time. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and you will not be charged for periods after it ends.
8. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that any stream will play, or that any alarm, timer or notification will fire at the intended time — mobile operating systems can delay or suppress background audio and notifications for reasons outside our control. Do not rely on the app as your sole alarm for anything critical.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, varostream and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) US$25. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we are required to by law. Sections 4, 6, 8, 9, 12 and 13 survive termination.
11. Copyright complaints
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement. Send a notice identifying the work, the material in the Service you say infringes it, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorised to act for the owner, to support@varostream.com. Our designated agent for notices is {{DMCA AGENT NAME AND ADDRESS}}.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of {{GOVERNING JURISDICTION — e.g. the State of Colorado, USA}}, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree that the courts of {{VENUE}} have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that either party may seek injunctive relief anywhere appropriate. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of your local mandatory consumer law.
13. App store terms
If you obtained the app from Apple: these terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support; in the event of a failure to conform to any applicable warranty you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, and to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation; Apple is not responsible for addressing product-liability or third-party intellectual-property claims relating to the app; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms with the right to enforce them. If you obtained the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download and purchase.
