Host Steve Perez with coaches and players wrapping up the final week of camp but there are many game faces already showing with the Sept. 5 opener now in view. Head coach Sean Lewis with preparations that include announcements of team captains that include some “hometown heroes, last-minute competition for positions and playing time along with his big picture view of the college game. Linebacker Tano Letuli is one of those guys who stops by for a visit, and also comes clean on how he handled the team’s recent water balloon fight. His position coach is Scott White, a local prep star in his own right, who talks linebackers and the other key player at the position, senior transfer Sione “Riz” Hala. White also lobbies the PPR on KUSI-TV for more airtime for his alma mater.
