While “a better life” might look different for each of us in the details, we can still learn so much from one another’s journeys, experiences, ideas, and vulnerabilities. 54:00Talk Cosmos 09-06-26 Jupiter Fire Trine Saturn
Join the journey on Talk Cosmos, Sunday September 6, 2026, 1–2 p.m. PDT (4-5 p.m. EDT) about “JUPITER FIRE TRINE SATURN”. This is the first trine in a series of three between Jupiter and Saturn since their Great Conjunction on December 21, 2020 in Aquarius at 0°29. They’re called the social planets because their 20-year conjunction cycle resets social culture. However, their larger cycle involves 200 years in each element. The December 2020 conjunction ended their 200 years in material earth signs of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. It initiated the future 20-year conjunction cycles in the non-material air signs of Aquarius, Gemini and Libra. Jupiter’s the planet of expansion, making everything bigger, whereas Saturn’s the planet determining what is essential and fundamental. Leo’s confidence and generosity add to Jupiter’s growth. Aries’ thrust for honesty, and its courage, drives Saturn to work industriously. We have a year of realistic optimism channeling our efforts into manifestation. These fire energies operate instinctively, with courageous confidence. 55:38Informed Life Radio 09-04-26 A Family Farm’s Regenerative Turn
Episode 382 | A Family Farm’s Regenerative Turn Utah farmer Stan Jensen joins us to tell the story of transforming his multigenerational family farm after taking the reins in 2019. Inspired by regenerative agriculture, Stan began moving away from pesticides and GMOs and toward practices designed to rebuild soil, keep living roots in the ground, increase diversity, and integrate livestock. Today, Sunnyside Up Pastures raises grass-fed and finished beef, pork, chicken and eggs while working toward becoming a fully regenerative and organic farm. We look at what convinced Stan to change course, what he learned along the way, how livestock and rotational grazing fit into rebuilding soil, and what the results have looked like on the ground—including during drought. We also discuss his work educating and advocating for farmers through Red Acre Center, the regulatory hurdles facing small producers and processors, and his efforts to challenge policies that favor large operations at the expense of local food and farm freedom. 55:28Meandering Musings with Neil Peterson ep 154 I Watched Dr. Phil Sell Me a Prostate Pill. Except It Wasn’t Dr. Phil
In this thought-provoking episode of Meandering Musings, Neil Peterson shares a surprisingly personal story about being deceived by a sophisticated online supplement pitch that appeared to feature trusted public figures and medical experts. What began as a search for answers about a common health concern became a lesson about artificial intelligence, misinformation, and how difficult it has become to distinguish fact from fiction in the digital age. Neil reflects on trust, skepticism, and the growing challenge of knowing what is real. Stacys in a good mood since her stomach bug passed and pizza from Leo’s in San Antonio may have been the cure! Shopping helped too, which led her to pose an important question to Eric. What is the guy’s version of candles and throw pillows and/or shoes and handbags? Men not agreeing on “a thing” may be why we don’t have world peace. Because Eric’s bum was still numb from kayaking, he and “the girlfriend” went biking instead which while it was hard getting started, he enjoyed his cushioned seat. Despite their varied schedules, Eric and bandmates from Battersea are preparing for another gig at The Valley in Tacoma on September 19th, 2026. Naturally, Stacy had excellent ideas to help prep, which he appreciated greatly. He would appreciate her help when his mother and aunt visit, but Stacy is enjoying watching him squirm. For their CBS, they independently watched a Dolly Parton movie (9 to 5 for Eric and Steel Magnolias for Stacy) to pay respect to a legend! And then each went rogue, Eric with the original Halloween and Stacy with High Fidelity. Eric was surprised at how much he enjoyed Halloween after building it up as a kid. Stacy enjoyed High Fidelity for the soundtrack, cast chock full of future stars and sheer angst. Eric pointed out that when he and his friends are music dorks that intellectualize music there isn’t nearly the same response…no offense, they’re not John Cusack in 2000. As for snow versus leaves, one’s fun to play with while the other is fun to play in…neither is fun to clean! Widows, It's Time to Unite! — Navigating Loss, Sacred Property Transitions, and Joy Across the Veil In this deeply moving episode of Mystic Radio, Robin Alexis and somatic practitioner Mary Stephenson welcome guest Karen LaVerdiere to explore the journey of widowhood, practical life transitions, and emotional healing. Joined clairvoyantly from the very start by Karen's late husband, Bobby—who playfully shows up eating popcorn on the other side—the conversation centers on releasing her long-time home in Hood Canal, Washington. Through a powerful live space-clearing, Robin honors Bobby’s connection to the local Kakoma Nation, inviting ancestral medicine spirits to shift the property’s energy and prepare it for a new owner. For more information on Karen's home on Hood Canal, please contact realtor Lisa Sisk at 253-952-3904. Throughout the episode, Mary Stephenson brings attuned somatic guidance, leading a collective breath practice to help Karen ease her nervous system out of long-term caregiving strain and into a grounded state of safety. From discussions on Buddhist chanting and processing multi-layered grief to recognition of incoming abundance, this episode stands as a compassionate reminder that love outlasts physical loss, reaffirming the show's core message: Widows, It's Time to Unite! You don't need to carry this alone.

55:17Talk Cosmos 08-30-26 Mars Square Activates Saturn
Host Sue ‘Rose’ Minahan explores the dynamic energy of “Mars Action Squares Saturn” by reviewing evolving cultural consciousness themes during their thirty-year cycles since 1908. Mars Rules Aries Mars transits protective Cancer while retrograde Saturn, transits in identity-based Aries. Thus, Mars the ruler of Aries guides Saturn while in the sign of Aries. Their energy influencing us to redetermine directions in addressing what drives our honest needs of identity. These relate to the emotional drives supporting close-knit, family-like relationships. We internally process re-establishing motives and ambitions while Mars squares Saturn in apparent retrograde. 30-Year Cycle Mars in Cancer square Saturn in Aries, repeats only about every 30 years because of their ecliptic orbits. Mars orbits the Sun in two years, and Saturn in 30 years. Most recent exact squares on August 15, 1996, and July 11, 1968. Their current square began August 23 shortly before the Lunar Eclipse. The energy reaches an exact culmination at 13° Cancer/Aries on September 1st – staying in orb until September 8. Mars enters Leo on September 29 and Virgo on November 26. Saturn stations direct on December 10. Connect with inspiration! 56:04Informed Life Radio 08-28-26 Data Centers - Advocating for Strong Local Rules
Episode 381 | Data Centers - Advocating for Strong Local Rules Sam Romain, chairman of Americans for Energy Dominance, joins us to discuss how residents can respond when attempts to ban a proposed data center are unlikely to succeed. We look at how communities can advocate for temporary moratoria and stringent rulemaking to protect water and power supplies, limit noise, light and pollution, prevent secret deals and blank-check tax breaks, and ensure developers bear the full cost of infrastructure and decommissioning. We also examine Washington’s growing data-center footprint and practical steps citizens can take before a project is approved. The day after we recorded this interview, Stand for Health Freedom launched its new “Grow Food not Surveillance” Data Center Toolkit: https://standforhealthfreedom.com/datacenter/. It includes maps, research, issue briefs, a community action guide, sample emails and public-testimony templates to help citizens understand proposed data centers and advocate effectively before local decisions are finalized. 54:07DAMTT- Apples, Murder, and Life on Earth
Was it all the apples, eating a salad, or something else? Stacy starts the episode off with a *toot* once again proving she has no issues with TMI unfortunately for Eric and listeners. Eric and “the gf” went kayaking a second time beating their previous record although Eric did share, he suffered from numb bum after which led to yet another brilliant innovation/sponsor idea. Stacy still continues to work on a tagline (no one asked for) for Duck Duck Go and currently in first is Eric’s suggestion of Just Duckit which leads to a hilariously awkward story about his 8yo nephew’s “Just Do Me” sweatshirt. The two pay homage to recently deceased Dolly Parton and Tim Curry, which Stacy feels all but confirms the world is headed for hell. For their CBS this week Stacy and Eric have an unplanned switched-at-birth moment as Stacy watches another Coen brother’s movie and Eric watches a Pixar movie for children. Not shocking is that after Stacy finally watched Fargo (her dad’s fav movie), she thought it was awesome, if weird. Even less shocking is Eric finding something to nitpick about after watching Wall-E. If Stacy can take the Coen brothers movie as face value, why can’t Eric take Wall-E being propelled at light speed through space while holding onto essentially a rocket and NOT melting at face value?! Also, is Wall-E the love child of Charlie Chaplin and Johnny 5 from Short Circuit? Eric is also still watching James Gandalfini go to therapy on the Sopranos and like therapy, it’s really growing on him. As for the ideal shower length, depends on who you ask and whether you’re at The Blue Lagoon in Iceland (but the general recommendation is 8 minutes). In this episode of Mystic Radio, Robin Alexis and Mary Stephenson welcome Mary Kennison to share the story of her husband, Dave, and the tender experience of releasing his ashes into the ocean with their daughter. Mary reflects on the shock of unexpected loss, the importance of ritual and community, and the ways grief changes the body, the mind, and the shape of daily life. She also shares the lightness and joy she felt in honoring what she and Dave had shared, while allowing their relationship to continue in a new form. Dave was deeply connected to nature, and that connection continued to surround the conversation. The ashes were released at the beach where Mary and Dave had grown up, while hummingbirds, wind chimes, the ocean, and the natural world became living symbols of love, presence, and remembrance. Mary also shares how she continues to communicate with Dave and is now channeling a book with him—offering hope that love can continue to guide, inspire, and participate in our lives after physical death. 53:45Staying Power 08-26-26 What Internal Struggles Tell Us
Episode 134: What Internal Struggles Tell Us Often, the life obstacle that gets in our way the most is...us. While that isn't ideal, it also isn't the end of the world when that happens. Instead, if we can look deeper into those internal struggles, we may see some very clear truths and pathways forward. It isn't just about "mindset" or "work ethic" - it's about curiosity and courage to see what is actually happening. And the place to start - as JD and Ashley do in this week's episode - is by being open with ourselves and others about those deep struggles we see in ourselves. Chances are, what they talk about will resonate with you; see if their paths forward do as well! 55:03Talk Cosmos 08-23-26 4° Pisces Lunar Eclipse
Join Talk Cosmos as we explore the 4° Pisces Lunar Eclipse occurring on August 27–28. As the second celestial marker in this eclipse pair, this show picks up where our August 2nd episode left off, diving deeper into the August 12 Solar Eclipse at 20° Leo. Navigating the Energy The Pisces Lunar Eclipse focuses on what part of a dream or vision we must ground—avoiding fantasy—to discern the exact skills needed to transform ideas into reality. Sudden insights guide us in activating this process. Ultimately, the 4°59’ Pisces Lunar Eclipse asks us to reset our self-care and heal our sense of self-worth—and possibly our physical well-being—while developing our resources and talents for true self-reliance. Nodal Dynamics & Critical Degrees This Pisces Lunar Eclipse echoes the lingering residue from the recent 18-month Pisces-Virgo nodal cycle following the earlier Solar Eclipse in Leo. With the nodes having entered their new cycle, they hold at the critical 29th degree for over two months (July 26 through October 9). The 4° Pisces 54’ Lunar Eclipse occurs at 12:18 a.m. EDT on August 28, and at 9:8 p.m. PDT on August 27. The Essence of the Luminary The Moon regulates how the past—reflected through the Sun’s light—flows into the present. Every lunar cycle supports an evolving life story as we navigate shifting emotional energies and find new meanings. Eclipses intensify these dynamics, bringing our focus to pivotal changing factors in our lives. Episode 380 | Children’s Health Solutions— Practical Help for Parents Holistic pediatric RNs Maureen “Maura” McDonnell joins us to talk about the growing burden of chronic illness in children—and, more importantly, what parents can do about it. Maura created the Children’s Health Solutions Series, a no-cost resource bringing experienced holistic pediatricians directly to parents with practical, affordable approaches to childhood anxiety, ADHD, autism, vaccine injury, Lyme disease, common childhood illnesses, immune health and other chronic conditions. The current series features Elizabeth Mumper, MD, on childhood anxiety and autism; Mary Ann Block, DO, on ADHD; Larry Palevsky, MD, on vaccine injury and caring for children through illnesses such as measles and whooping cough; and Michelle Perro, MD, on Lyme disease in children. 28:27DAMTT-Failure to Fly, Dudeism, and the Need for More High-Hat
Considering Eric is “the voice,” of the show, he sure did struggle to talk in the beginning of the episode. If he could get his ish together maybe SeaTac would hire him to make announcements like Rick Rizz, the “voice of Mariner’s radio.” In other news out of Tacoma, the podcast pals face off (kind of) in the Little League World Series as the Soundview team from Tacoma face off against the team from Boerne, TX. Eric shares stories about kayaking, his parking validation anxieties, and rethinking the gift of a Kenmore flight to celebrate his dad’s birthday – he tries to look on the bright side which is him with no teeth post plane crash. Stacy is less anxious if only because she’s on the road again, this time back to Texas for the foreseeable future. For their CBS, Stacy studies the ways of Dudeism by watching The Big Lebowski. Are Dudeism and Taoism the same? Is the Dude just Pooh with pants on? Also, it was funny and quirky like all Coen brother movies. Which coincidentally Eric also watched one of, he saw Miller’s Crossing; a glacially paced movie about small-town Irish gangsters that needed more high-hat. He also watched The Night of the Hunter; released in 1955, Eric was very impressed with the acting, cinematography and storyline which kept him in suspense. They don’t make ’m like they used to! As for their great debate, there was none as the topic was hangover cures. Ideally, don’t drink. Realistically, drink water before, during and after a night of drinking too much (plus other suggestions). 52:25The Loretta Brown Show - 08-20-26 - This Is Consciousness!
Today, Loretta welcomes Regina Leffers, Ph.D., who is a philosopher, author, meditation teacher, and retired professor whose work brings together academic philosophy, psychology, contemplative practice, embodiment, and human development. She is the former Director of the Center of Excellence for the Built Environment and Professor of Sustainable Construction in the College of Engineering at Purdue University in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Regina holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Philosophy and a doctoral degree in Philosophy, and alongside her academic career she has maintained a daily meditation practice for more than 45 years. Her book This Is Consciousness! grew from her concern about one of the defining challenges of our time: our increasing inability to speak civilly, listen deeply, navigate differences, and solve problems together. Regina describes consciousness through a series of “facets”—different perspectives through which human beings experience and interpret reality. Each facet contains gifts, challenges, shadows, and particular ways of solving problems, and difficulties arise when individuals or societies become stuck in one facet beyond its usefulness. Rather than judging one facet as simply good or bad, Regina’s work invites us to understand the developmental purpose of each and learn to move more consciously and fluidly among them. At the heart of her teaching is the distinction between responding from love and reacting from fear, along with the transformative role of meditation, embodiment, self-awareness, and what she calls embodied love. Her work asks us not simply to think about consciousness, but to recognize how consciousness is expressed through our bodies, relationships, choices, communities, and collective life. 53:30The Loretta Brown Show - 08-13-26 - Soul Writing
Today, Loretta welcomes back Joanne DiMaggio, MA, CHt, who is a respected author, researcher, spiritual mentor, and hypnotherapist whose work explores reincarnation, consciousness, pre-life planning, past-life regression, and the practice she calls Soul Writing. A longtime student of Edgar Cayce and a member of the Association for Research and Enlightenment since 1987, Joanne has devoted nearly four decades to studying how our deeper soul consciousness may influence the patterns, relationships, challenges, and opportunities of our present lives. Joanne earned her master’s degree in Transpersonal Studies and her Spiritual Mentor certification from Atlantic University, and she trained extensively in hypnosis and past-life regression. Her research and teaching have reached audiences worldwide through lectures, workshops, books, radio programs, podcasts, and private sessions. At the heart of Joanne’s work is Soul Writing, a written form of meditation designed to help individuals access what she describes as the still, wise voice of the Higher Self. Rather than relying entirely on external teachers or spiritual authorities, Soul Writing encourages people to become quiet enough to receive insight from within. Joanne’s research has explored the use of Soul Writing in past-life work, spiritual development, healing, creativity, psychic awareness, relationships, career questions, forgiveness, and soul growth. Her newly revised book, Soul Writing: Conversing With Your Higher Self, expands upon the original 2011 edition with new research as well as chapters on Soul Writing for children and practitioners. She has also published a companion Soul Writing Journal containing prompts designed to help readers develop a consistent sacred-writing practice. Joanne is the author of numerous books exploring reincarnation and consciousness, including Your Soul Remembers: Accessing Your Past Lives Through Soul Writing, Karma Can Be a Real Pain: Past Life Clues to Current Life Maladies, I Did It To Myself...Again! New Life-Between-Lives Case Studies Show How Your Soul’s Contract Is Guiding Your Life, Soul Mates and Twin Souls: Traveling Companions on the Road to Enlightenment, The Inner Light: How the Beatles Planted the Spiritual Seed in Our Souls, and Edgar Cayce and the Unfulfilled Destiny of Thomas Jefferson Reborn. Joanne continues to offer private past-life regression and Soul Writing sessions online and to teach individuals how to explore their own inner guidance with curiosity, discernment, and spiritual responsibility. 👍 If you're enjoying these conversations, make sure to like, subscribe, and follow The Glen Gilbert Connection so you never miss future episodes. Your support helps us continue bringing powerful conversations about healing, growth, leadership, relationships, and becoming the person you're meant to be. In this episode of The Glen Gilbert Connection, Glen sits down with Wiley Cortez, an executive leadership developer whose life story began in poverty, gang culture, violence, and repeated encounters with county jail before ultimately transforming into a life of leadership and impact. Wiley opens up about growing up in Southern California, searching for masculine role models, learning hard lessons about loyalty, and facing the painful realization that the life he was living was not the life he was created for. He shares the moments that forced him to confront his reality, including discovering who truly cared about him, hearing a judge's life-altering warning, and making the decision to leave behind the environment that had defined him for years. Throughout the conversation, Glen and Wiley explore identity, shame, mindset, purpose, and what it truly takes to rebuild a life from the inside out. Wiley explains why the biggest obstacle wasn't his environment but the limiting beliefs he carried about himself, and how committing to a vision, finding accountability, and surrounding himself with the right people changed everything. Viewers will walk away with practical insights on personal transformation, leadership, resilience, self-reflection, and why every person is capable of becoming more than their current circumstances suggest. If you've ever felt stuck, trapped by your past, or uncertain about your purpose, this conversation offers a powerful roadmap for creating a different future. 7:23DAMTT- Dancing on the Ceiling, Oh Yeah
It was a quiet week for podcast pals Stacy and Eric. Stacy entertained guests at Veranda Beach and even with smoke and ash in the air (happy birthday Smokey the Bear) mahjong happens. Speaking of addictions, Stacy discusses her 5-day addiction to the phone game Meowduku (the Tacoma cat boat story!?), her love for Tootsie Pops (Eric crunched them like the owl), and breaking down to buy more mahjong tiles (it was inevitable). Eric reminisces about watching professional kite flyers (synchronized?!) and seeing Comedy Bang Bang (very hawt). In discussing their CBS, Eric introduces Stacy and listeners to Duck Duck Go (a search engine) which needs a verb…duckit, goosed, gone? Stacy went old school watching Royal Wedding with her girlhood crush Fred Astaire while Eric went “just in theaters” with The Odyssey and Spiderman: Brand New Day. With at least three of the stars overlapping, it was a banner movie-going experience bringing back an old-school epic popcorn blockbuster and the grounded lore of Spiderman, even if the AI assistant was annoying. As for their top topic of the week, Stacy took a more hypothetical approach in her certainty that The Kool Aid Man would win, while Eric was practical and declared a knockout for The Michelin Man – and it’s ok that Eric is often wrong in these debates. 1:23:37Mystic Radio - 08-14-26 - Robin & Mary welcome Erik Krema
In this heartfelt episode of Mystic Radio, Robin Alexis and Mary Stephenson welcome Erik Krema to honor the life and legacy of his dear friend and longtime colleague, Bob Bordonaro. Erik first met Bob in 1993 in downtown Seattle, when Bob was his sales manager and mentor. What began as a boss-and-employee relationship slowly grew into deep respect, trust, and a lasting friendship that spanned more than thirty years. Erik reflects on Bob’s dedication, work ethic, humor, and practical wisdom, as well as the softer, more open side of Bob that emerged later in life after meeting Robin. For Erik, Bob’s transformation was a powerful reminder of how love can change a person. The conversation also touches on their shared years in broadcasting and the evolution of the station that became 1150 AM KKNW Alternative Talk, where Erik continues to support independent hosts in bringing their voices and messages to the world. This episode is a warm tribute to friendship, mentorship, radio, and the kind of steady presence that leaves a lasting imprint on everyone it touches.
